Do I need an account?
Nope. Start tracking walks straight away, no sign in needed. Everything saves to your phone. When you're ready, sign in with Apple to back it all up and sync across devices.
How many dogs can I add?
One on the free plan. As many as you like with Pipie Pro. Each dog gets their own walks, streaks, and stats.
Can I change my dog's photo or regenerate the portrait?
Yes. Go to your dog's profile, tap the avatar, pick a new photo, and the portrait will be regenerated. Fresh look, same good dog.
My walk didn't save. What happened?
Walks under one minute don't save (we love the enthusiasm though). If your walk was longer and still didn't save, try force quitting and reopening the app. If a walk was in progress when the app closed unexpectedly, you should see a recovery prompt when you reopen.
The GPS route looks a bit off.
GPS accuracy depends on where you are. Tall buildings, tunnels, and dense trees can cause gaps or wobbly lines. Pipie filters out low quality GPS points automatically and shows dotted lines where the signal was lost. It's not perfect, but it's honest about it.
Does the app track my location when I'm not walking?
No. Location tracking starts when you start a walk and stops when you end it. We never track your location outside of walks. Your whereabouts between walks are none of our business.
How do I turn off analytics?
Settings, then turn off "Share Usage Data" under Privacy. Analytics are anonymous and contain no personal information, but it's your call.
Can I export my data?
Yes. Go to Settings and tap "Download My Data." You'll get a file with everything: walks, dogs, stats, the lot. It's yours.
How do I delete my account?
Settings, scroll down, tap "Delete Account." You'll see a confirmation. Tap "Delete Everything" if you're sure. This permanently removes all your data from our servers and your device. Walks, dogs, milestones, photos, everything. There is no way to undo it.
How do I unlock milestones?
Just keep walking. Milestones unlock automatically as you hit distance, streak, and walk count targets. You'll get a celebration when it happens. Some are common. Some are legendary. All of them look great.
What's a shiny passport?
Every dog gets a passport card. About 1 in 8 of them are shiny. It's random. You can't earn it, you just get lucky. Share it if you do.
